This morning, Aditya watched five reports (including the traffic report), each of which is aired at a different time (8:13 AM, 8:17 AM, 8:19 AM, 8:23 AM, or 8:25 AM) and was presented by a different correspondent (Aman, Barjinder, Candy, Jasmeet or Mandy). From the information provided, determine the correspondent (identified by first and last names – two surnames are Caur and Mann) who delivered the report at each time.
No correspondent has the same first-and last – name initial. The first correspondent Aditya watched is surnamed Jha.
Mandy (who delivered the last report that Aditya watched) and the person surnamed Alag delivered the business and health reports, in same order.
Jasmeet’s last-name initial is the same letter as the first-name initial of the weather reporter surnamed Bhullar (who wasn’t on the air at 8:23 AM). Jasmeet gave a report exactly two minutes after another report.
The correspondent who gave the sports report shares one initial with the business reporter and the other initial with the reporter who was on air at 7:19 AM.

Magic Math
Multiplication by 12
Step: Proceed from right to left, double each digit in turn, and add to its neighbour on the right
Note: 1st digit is doubled and written down as such; the left most digit is considered as 0, which when doubled is 0 and then added to the neighbour on the right to get the left most digit of the answer
Example: 314*12 =?
First digit on right is 4, which is doubled to get 8; next digit is 1, which is doubled to get 2 and then added to 4 to get 6; next digit is 3, which is doubled to get 6 and then added to 1 to get 7; last digit is taken as 0, which is doubled to get 0, and then added to 3 to get 3
Answer = 3768

Learning to Learn
Tao Yuanming was a poet and a knowledgeable scholar who lived in the Dong Jin Dynasty. A young man once asked him, “What’s the best way to learn?” Tao Yuanming replied, “There is no best way. If you work hard, you will make progress. And if you don’t, you will lag behind.” He pointed at a small sprout in a field and said to the young man, “Can you see that it is growing?” The young man stared at it for a long time and said, “I cannot see it growing.” Tao Yuanming asked, “Then how could a little sprout become so tall later on if it is not growing?” He continued, “It is growing every moment but, we cannot see it with our eyes. It absorbs water and sunlight everyday to grow bit by bit. Similarly, our knowledge accumulates little by little. Sometimes we may not even realize it. But if we keep learning consistently, we will surely make progress.”
The key to learning lies in the will to work hard and perseverance.

6+6-6 = 6
7-7/7 = 6
(√(8+8/8)! = 6
√9*√9-√9 = 6
(√((10-10/10))! = 6

The reporter surnamed Jha delivered the 8:13 AM report (1).
The reporter surnamed Bhullar delivered the weather report (3).
Mandy, who delivered the 8:25 AM report (2), isn’t surnamed Mann (1), Alag, or Bhullar, which is the surname of the weather reporter (2); thus Mandy is surnamed as Caur.
Jasmeet isn’t surnamed Jha (1), Bhullar, or Mann(3); so Jasmeet is surnamed Alag, hence the reporter surnamed Bhullar is Aman (3).
Jasmeet Alag’s report wasn’t at 8:17 AM or 8:23 AM (3); it was at 8:19 AM, so the sports reporter is surnamed Jha (4).
Jasmeet Alag gave the8:19 AM report, so the sports reporter surnamed Jhai isn’t Barjinder (4); that reporter is Candy, so Mandy Caur gave the business report (4), and Jasmeet Alag gave the health report (2).
Barjinder is surnamed Mann and gave the traffic report.
Aman Bhullar’s report wasn’t at 8:23 AM (3); it was at 8:17 AM.
Barjinder’s report was at 8:23 AM.
In summary,
8:13 AM – Candy Jha- Sports
8:17 AM – Aman Bhullar – Weather
8:19 AM – Jasmeet Alag – Health
8:23 Am – Barjinder Mann – Traffic
8:25 AM – Mandy Caur – Business
